All of our silk scarves are handmade at our factory in Macclesfield, England. Depending on your order requirements, scarves may be printed via our age-old traditional screen printing method, or our state-of-the-art digital textile printer.

Designing your silk scarf
Scarf fabric choices
The key to creating the most beautiful silk scarf is choosing the right fabric. Whilst we can print on any silk, there are some qualities that we would recommend to achieve a perfect drape.
If your design requires a reverse colour print, choosing a lighter weight fabric with a loose weave will allow more colour to penetrate either side. Some of our most popular choices of fabric for silk scarves are: Habotai, Crepe de Chine, Georgette and Chiffon.

Creating your design
Here are some handy tips for creating your artwork:
- Create your designs in Adobe Photoshop, with a resolution of 300 dpi minimum
- Ensure that your designs don’t have any obvious joint lines
- Consider any borders you wish to add and include them within your specified dimensions
- Allow for hemming around the edges
